Man Arrested With Evidence of Child Porn

On the morning of December 29th, the Amarillo Police Special Victims Unit searched the 1500 block of Lyles Street.
A tip was submitted from Dallas about the suspected possession and distribution of child pornography.
The search resulted in multiple electronic items being confiscated, with a few being found with evidence.
Jason Maxwell, a 38-year-old male was arrested on the scene and brought to the Potter County Detention Center
He was booked with 10 counts of Possession / Distribution of child pornography.
The investigation is still ongoing.
