Man Arrested After Pursuit In Hutchinson And Carson County

Hutchinson County Deputies arrested a man who had stolen a vehicle and evaded a traffic stop.

On January 4th, a Hutchinson County Deputy was providing back-up during a traffic stop in the Fritch area.

While on scene, the Deputy was dispatched to Tranquility Lane in reference to a vehicle that had just been stolen from a local resident’s garage and while en-route, the stolen vehicle passed the Deputy.

Due to the offense being a Felony in progress and no other Law Enforcement in the immediate area, Carson County attempted to stop the stolen vehicle.

The vehicle failed to stop for the Carson County Deputy and led Law Enforcement on an extended vehicle pursuit ending in an adjacent County.

Charles Walker was arrested and booked into the Hutchinson County Jail for Evading Arrest/Detention Motor Vehicle, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.
