Lubbock County Confirms Two Cases Of COVID-19

Lubbock County has two confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 coronavirus.
The director of the Health Department, Katherine Wells made the announcement after 5 p.m. Tuesday
During a press conference officials said one case is a resident of Lubbock County and the other is from Hockley County both cases were travel-related.
The two confirmed people were hospitalized.
Dr. Ron Cook. added that hospitals in Lubbock including UMC, Covenant, and the Heart Hospital are ready to take on whatever may occur, adding it’s reassuring these two cases are travel-related and not community-acquired
