Lost Boy Protected By Bear In The Woods

A three-year-old boy had a special friend keep him safe while spending two days lost in the North Carolina woods. Casey Hathaway told his family that he hung out with a bear after going missing from his grandmother’s home. The friendly bear supposedly kept a watchful eye on Hathaway as he spent two days in freezing conditions. Emergency services had to wade  through waist high water to find the boy after a few days of hard rain. Hathaway amazingly escaped with only a few scrapes and only wanted some water and his mother.
