Local Tax Distribution

The State of Texas will distribute 1 point 1 billion dollars in local sales tax to local governments for September.

State Comptroller Glenn Hegar said on Thursday, that he’ll send cities, counties, transit systems, and special purpose districts $1.1 billion in local sales tax allocations for September, 3.4% more than in September 2022.

The City of Amarillo is slated to get $8 point 278 million dollars, while Canyon will get over $355 Thousand dollars.
