Local Organization Hosting GED Informational Dinner For Local Women

The Center for Advancement will be hosting a free taco dinner and informational meeting regarding GED classes for women on August 9th.

The event, titled “Let’s Taco ‘Bout GED”, will take place at 6 pm at 2308 Southwest 7th Street in Amarillo.

The class aims to provide women with a way to achieve a better life, the ability to earn a higher income, and the option to move forward in their education.

Women will be able to take both remote learning and instructor-led courses, and all testing, workbooks, and instruction are free.

At the end of the night, attendees will be able to sign up for assessment testing and classes beginning August 22nd at Amarillo College.
