Local Ministry Raising Funds to Provide Meals to Inmates

Kairos has announced it will hold an event to raise money to help provide food to inmates in the area.

The affair will be from March 23rd through March 26th at the Clements Unit in Amarillo and will be an opportunity for prisoners to have discussions, chapel meditations, and prayer.

42 men will be chosen to participate and each will be served nine different meals prepared outside of the jail.

The group says the event costs about $15,000 and is fully funded by donations, and they are selling $5 meal tickets that will be used to purchase the food.
