Local Group Using Survey to Learn More About Child Development

A local group of advocates have put together a survey they hope can shed light on child development in our area.

“Operation First Five” is a coalition of early childhood development and educational partners attempting to gauge the general knowledge of parents in the area with regards to raising children under 5 years old.

One of the lead investigators, Dr. Traci Fredmen from West Texas A&M University, says there are a few specific questions they hope to have answered.

The organization says they would like to get 800 or more completed surveys from parents in the area.

Dr. Fredman also gave a few examples on how they plan to use the responses.
