Local Artists Can Soon Share Their Art at City Parks

The City of Amarillo Parks and Recreation Department is combining the local art community with the cities array of parks.
With cooperation with the City of Amarillo Beautification and Public Arts Advisory Board, PARD has created an art initiative to showcase local artists and their art at city parks.
Art Pads are being funded through the board at Thompson Park, Sam Houston Park, Memorial Park, and more.
These art pads will be bolted down concrete foundations, providing a stable platform for artists to share their art with their communities.
