Local Advocate Hosts Event to Benefit Children

Gunnery Sergeant Hobert Brown cares about his community.

He is a major advocate of children and education in our area, and will be hosting an event to benefit the kids of first responders and veterans.

“Gunny’s Scholarship Ride”, a motorcycle ride for charity, will take place Saturday April 23rd at 8am.

The first bike will be leaving Tripp’s Harley Davidson at 9am, and the last will arrive at North Heights Discount Store, located at 1621 NW 18th Avenue, at 2pm.

The cost per rider will be $25, and the event will include a 50/50 raffle and BBQ.
