Pampa High School Bomb Threat

A suspect has been identified that caused Pampa High School to dismiss students and staff early on Monday.

The threat came through a student via social media.

Pampa Independent School District stated with the assistance of Pampa ISD, the Pampa Police Department identified the suspect. There is no longer an active threat and school returned to normal operations Tuesday.

The school was placed on a social hold until school officials decided on a controlled dismissal starting at 12:10 p.m., with students being dismissed by their location in the building and not by grade level.

By 12:40, all students were dismissed for the rest of the day.
