League of Women Voters Holding Prenatal Care Community Meeting

The Amarillo League of Women Voters is holding a prenatal care community meeting on Thursday, October 28.
The meeting is part of a two year study by the League about maternal morbidity and mortality in the area.
The guest speaker is Dr. Teresa Baker, Chair of The Department of Obstetrics And Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
She”ll be discussing how prenatal care plays a role in safe deliveries and what prenatal care is all about.
The meeting takes place at the Amarillo United Citizens Forum building at 910 North Hayden.
The Amarillo LWV urges the public to attend , especially groups that help with low-income citizens
