Law Enforcement Take Drugs Off Friona Streets
Five-pounds of methamphetamine has been taken off the streets of Friona.
Friona PD executed a narcotics search warrant with the help of Parmer County Sheriff’s Office, Bovina Police Department, and the Dimmitt Police Department’s K-9 Unit on Saturday, March 9.
The warrant was executed at 905 Main Street in Friona, Texas and named 32-year-old Freddy Reyes to be in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine.
Reyes was located inside the residence and detained for service of the warrant.
During the investigation, officers located and seized five pounds of methamphetamine and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
Reyes was charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1, over 400 grams, a first-degree felony.
