Kwanzaa-Nia

Today is the fifth day of Kwanzaa, dedicated to the principle of purpose.

The significance of the day is to make it the collective vocation of building and developing the African-American community in order to restore the people to their traditional greatness.

Kwanzaa  was created in 1966 by Maulana Karenga, a professor of Pan-African studies at California State University and starts the day after Christmas until the day after New Years
