“Know Before You Go” for Week of June 6th

The Texas Department of Transportation announced multiple road closures and construction areas in Amarillo that will begin the week of June 6th.
Work on Tuesday will include the installation of a light pole near I-27 and 34th, pavement repair on Fillmore street nearing downtown and sign placement on I-40 eastbound near Arnot Road.
Wednesday plans involve patching repairs on the southbound lane of FM 1912, I-40 sign additions near the Soncy Street exit and the beginning of multiple four-week projects at Hollywood Road from I-27 to Coulter that will involve detours.
Scheduled work for Thursday deals with placing a new I-40 sign at the Helium Road shoulder.
