Kids Inc. Excited About New Sports Complex

Board members for Kids Inc. will meet this week to discuss upcoming construction plans as they get closer to breaking ground on the Rockrose Sports Complex.

Kids Inc. President and CEO Jimmy Lackey says he wants his board to be ready as soon as project engineers and construction crews say they are ready to break ground.

To date, Lackey and his organization have raised nearly $25 million for the project.

The new complex is expected to have eight baseball and softball fields, and 31 soccer fields. It will be located near Hollywood Road and Coulter Street.
