Injured Dog Gets Much Needed Help Thanks To AAMW Tumbler Fund

A dog with a severe injury is getting much needed help thanks to the tumbler fund.

On March 24th, the City of Amarillo’s Animal Management and Welfare retrieved a female Miniature Australian Shepherd mix with a severely injured eye in the 4200 block of Northeast 14th avenue.

The dog also had punctures to the top of her head and jaw.

The dog, named Sadie, was able to receive surgery, medical c, re and treatment at a local veterinary that did include the removal of the injured eye.

The Tumbler Fund was created in 2018 and named for a pit bull puppy who was found in a city trash truck after being put in a dumpster.
