A forum to stop impaired driving is being held on Wednesday, February 21st from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
The forum consists of Amarillo Police Department Chief Martin Birkenfeld, David Elizalde with Andrea’s Project, and LaViza Matthews with the Texas Department of Transportation, talking about the impacts of drunk driving on victims, and families.
Birkenfeld, Elizalde, and Matthews will talk about the grassroots efforts to reduce impaired driving at a community level.
