I-40 Accident In Wheeler County

A fatal accident occurred in Wheeler County on the 4th of September between a Semi Truck and a Toyota Tundra hauling a trailer.

The incident occurred when the tractor-trailer passed the center median on I-40, hitting the truck on the driver’s side, and causing them both to drift and come to rest in the south ditch. 

The occupants of the Semi, Mohamed Abdi and Mubashar Ibraahim were both taken to Shamrock General Hospital with minor injuries.

Steven Little was driving the Toyota and was pronounced dead on the scene. 

This crash is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
