House Bill 1325 Approved by the Texas House

The Texas House of Representatives approved House Bill 1325 on Tuesday.
Hemp is a plant related to marijuana but contains a low amount of THC.
Multiple products such as paper, and clothing can be made from Hemp.
These items are legal in the state of Texas but producers must purchase the material from other states.
If HB 1325 passes into law Texas farmers will have the option to grow the plant as a cash crop.
