Hot August Nights To Take Place At Aunt Eek’s Books and Curiosities Friday Night

The first Hot August Nights benefiting the San Jacinto Neighborhood Association will be taking place this evening.
First will feature the En Plein Air Paint competition that includes paintings done at locations featured on the San Jacinto Art Project list. These projects are due to Aunt Eek’s between 5:30 and 8pm.
The new event is the Art and Artist Lookalike Competition. This gives participants the chance to show their dramatic flair for art.
Contestants can sign up starting at 5:30 at Aunt Eek’s books and curiosities located at 2900 6th street.
