Honoring Fallen Unknown Veterans

A ceremony will take place on Wednesday at the Panhandle War Memorial to honor several fallen unknown veterans.

The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. where Potter County Judge Nancy Tanner will speak.

On Thursday law enforcement and the Patriot Guard riders will escort the remains of the fallen heroes to the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

There the ashes of the unknown veterans will be laid to rest.
