Hollywood Productions Urged To Pause Amid COVID Surge

The Producers Guild of America, the Joint Policy Committee, and SAG-AFTRA have made a recommendation to stop all in-person productions in Southern California temporarily due to the surge in COVID cases.

The national executive director of SAG-AFTRA released a statement saying that aside from the risk of COVID, there are still safety risks involved and since there are few, if any, hospital beds available, it could be extremely hard for anyone who gets injured on set receive treatment.
