High Plains Food Bank to Receive Donations Through the Summer

The High Plains Food Bank has done fantastic work over the years, but even they have their share of issues with collecting food to give to those in need.

Luckily, the food bank will receive a donation from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Wednesday morning, as well as throughout the summer from anyone willing to help.

Along with taking donations, the HPFB puts on their Kid’s Cafe program for the community, where they provide healthy meals for both children and senior adults alike at various locations across Amarillo and Canyon.
