Hemphill County Sheriff’s Under Investigation.

The Texas Rangers are investigating a member of the Hemphill County Sheriff’s Office.
On February 5th, the Texas Department of Public Safety in Lubbock received a request from the 31st Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Pampa regarding Sheriff Nathan Lewis.
Lewis is being investigated for criminal allegations.
The Texas Rangers have completed their investigation and have submitted their finding to the District Attorney’s Office for consideration.
This investigation is not related to the Thomas Brown Case according to DPS spokeswoman Cindy Barkley.
