Health Fair Returning to Amarillo To Ensure Healthy Living

West Texas A&M University is partnering once again with Hillside Church to bring back the WT Department of Nursing Community Health Fair.
From 4 to 7, the health fair will be located at Hillside Church’s North Grand Campus at 3508 N.E. 24th Ave.
After being canceled for 2 years thanks to Covid concerns, the fair will offer the Amarillo community services such as screenings for STDs, HIV, colorectal cancer, and blood sugar measurements to name a few.
The fair will also offer free Covid vaccines, low-cost adult immunizations, and free car seats and baby supplies for those who qualify.
Texas Tech University’s Health Sciences Center will be there to conduct on-site breast exams, and pap smears from 2-5 for free if you qualify.
