Guymon Man Arrested After Guns and Drugs Found in Homes and Car

Texas County Law enforcement officials have Roberto Diaz in custody on meth, firearms, and cocaine charges.

The 54-year-old man was arrested Monday night after being found on Highway 54 near the Star Truck Wash.

During the stop, a K-9 screen was requested. The dog’s handler told the deputy that the dog had alerted to drugs inside of the car.

The vehicle was searched, leading to the discovery of methamphetamine, cocaine, and other items consistent with drug sales.

Two homes, one in Optima, and one in Guymon, were also searched.

A total of over two pounds of methamphetamine, and over two ounces of cocaine were seized between the homes and the vehicle.

Diaz was arrested and booked into the Texas County Detention Center on multiple other charges, including keeping and selling a controlled substance.
