Gunman Arrested at Lubbock Hospital

A person in Lubbock has been arrested for reportedly bringing a firearm onto the Covenant Health Medical Center’s campus.

Lubbock police were called to the hospital’s cafeteria at 1:30 PM on July 19th where they arrested the individual in question.

The event caused the hospital to go on a brief lockdown but officials have said there was no immediate threat to patients, staff, or visitors.

No injuries were reported and no additional details have been released at this time.
