Guilty Plea In Murder Case Leads To 29 and a Half Year Sentencing

Three men were convicted of the murder of Frankie Lynn Cannon in 2019, and one of them just pleaded guilty. 

Amarillo man Benjamin Breckenridge has been sentenced to 29 and a half years in the institutional division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. 

He was indicted in Collingsworth County for the first-degree felony offense of murder in June  2020.

His trial was set for next week.

Texas Department of Public Safety Rangers and FBI Special Agents are continuing the investigation for more individuals connected to Cannon’s murder.
