Gray County Car Crash

One person is dead following a Wednesday auto crash in Gray County.

Texas Department of Public Safety says at 5:05 p.m. a Ford truck was traveling east on Highway 60 in a construction zone when he lost control of the vehicle. The driver says the front steering axle was locked up.

The Ford spun around, entered into a side skid, and rolled over.

The vehicle continued to slide into an unfinished construction lane and came to rest in the south ditch.

Passenger 31-year-old Bradley Ritchie was pronounced dead on the scene, while the driver escaped with minor injuries.
