Globe News Center Repairs

A broken water line at the Amarillo Globe-News Center has caused huge amounts of damage to the building over the Christmas holiday.

The city says they are currently getting price quotes from the insurance company and they are looking at one day turn-arounds for approval.

Because of the water line break, events had to be either postponed or canceled or moved to the Amarillo9 Civic Center.

City officials believe repairs could begin as early as next week.
