Friends of Cross Bar SRMA

Plans are being made north of Amarillo with a new area for outdoor recreational activities.

The Cross Bar Special Recreation Management Area(SRMA) has been hard at work to take over 12 thousand acres into land for activities. 

John Coffee, Potter County Commissioner for Precinct 3, is excited for city residents and tourists to enjoy another outdoor area.

The area is very scenic, and the friends of Cross Bay want to keep it that way. 

Work is planned for adding a road for access to the land.

Currently, it’s only accessible through private land, and trips should be made by reaching out to Friends of Cross Bar at their website friendsofcrossbarsrma.org
