(Green Bay, WI) — Nigel Bradham intercepted a tipped Aaron Rodgers pass in the end zone in the final minute as the Eagles held off the Packers 34-27 in Green Bay. Carson Wentz threw for 160 yards and three TD’s as Philadelphia evened its record at 2-and-2. Rodgers passed for 422 yards, two scores and his first pick of the season as Green Bay fell to 3-and-1.
Rangers Edge By Red Sox
(Arlington, TX) — Willie Calhoun and Rougned Odor homered in the seventh inning to break a tie as the Rangers topped the Red Sox 7-5 in Arlington. Danny Santana hit a grand slam for Texas. Mike Minor allowed five runs over eight and two thirds innings to get the win for the Rangers, who snapped a two-game slide. Minor struck out nine to reach 200 for the year.
Rangers Closing Out Globe Life Park With Weekend Series
(Arlington, TX) — The Rangers have three more games left at Globe Life Park, their home stadium since opening in 1994. The Rangers will move into a new stadium with a retractable roof in 2020. Joe Palumbo will make his fourth big league start for the Rangers tonight as they open a three-game series with the Yankees. Lance Lynn is scheduled to start Sunday in the stadium finale. Astros Lose In 12 Innings
(Anaheim, CA) — Kaleb Cowart walked, stole second and scored on a Kyle Tucker error with two-out in the 12th inning as the Angels walked off the Astros 4-3. Joe Biagini was the losing pitcher. The Astros left the bases loaded in the 11th, went 1-for-13 with runners in scoring position and stranded 17 runners. Jack Mayfield hit a two-run homer and Tucker a solo shot in defeat. The Astros are 104-and-54, two games in front of the Yankees for the best American League record.

Stars Lose To Wild
(Dallas, TX) — The Stars fell 2-1 to the Wild in Dallas in their penultimate preseason game. Radek Faksa scored the Dallas goal with assists from Andrew Cogliano and Thomas Harley. The Stars will conclude their exhibition games tomorrow, hosting the Colorado Avalanche. The Stars will open the NHL season a week from today against the Bruins in Dallas.
Mavs To Open Training Camp Tuesday
(Dallas, TX) — The Mavericks will open training camp Tuesday at the Lympo Practice Facility. They held an informal scimmage, which included Kristaps Porzingis, who has not played since suffering a knee injury on February 6, 2018 while with the Knicks. The training camp will conclude on October 6th with an open practice free to the public at American Airlines Center. Dallas will tip off its preseason schedule on October 8th against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Tulsa.
