Cowboys Release Complete 2018 Schedule

(Frisco, TX) — The Cowboys’ 2018 regular-season schedule is out. They begin the season against the Panthers in Carolina on September 9th. The Cowboys home opener is against the Giants on “Sunday Night Football” in Week Two. The ‘Boys will close out the season at New York on December 30th.

Texans Open NFL Regular Season At Patriots

(Houston, TX) — The Texans will open the NFL regular season on the road against the Patriots on Sunday, September 9th. The league released the entire schedule last night. Houston will be on the road for three of its first four games. The Texans will have a bye in Week 10.

Warriors Roll Past Spurs

(San Antonio, TX) — The Warriors won every quarter as they rolled past the Spurs 110-97 in an emotional Game Three in San Antonio. Durant led the way with 26 points and nine rebounds for Golden State, which is one win away from a first-round sweep. Klay Thompson scored 19 in the win. The Spurs played without head coach Gregg Popovich, who is mourning the death of his wife Erin. Associate head coach Ettore Messina took Pop’s spot on the bench. LaMarcus Aldridge led San Antonio with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Popovich’s status for Sunday’s Game Four is undetermined.

Rockets Visit Timberwolves Tomorrow

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Rockets hit the road tomorrow for Game Three of their first-round playoff series against the Timberwolves. The Rockets own a two-games to none lead over the T’wolves, and can end the series with two straight wins in Minneapolis. Game Four is Monday. If needed, the series returns to Houston for Game Five on Wednesday.

Morton, Astros Rock Mariners

(Seattle, WA) — Charlie Morton fired seven shutout innings as the Astros rocked the Mariners 9-2 in Seattle. Morton gave up three hits and struck out eight to improve to 3-and-0 for Houston. Jose Altuve drove in four on a pair of doubles while Josh Reddick and Max Stassi added solo homers. The Astros took three-of-four from the Mariners on the road.

Rangers Open Homestand Tonight Against Mariners

(Arlington, TX) — The Rangers open up a six-game homestand tonight with the first of three against the Seattle Mariners at Globe Life Park. Mike Minor will take the mound for Texas, which sits at 7-and-13 on the season. Seattle will counter with right-hander Felix Hernandez.

The Capitals also dropped the Blue Jackets 4-1 in Columbus to even that series at two games apiece. Three Game Fives are on the schedule

Murray Leads Valero Texas Open

(San Antonio, TX) — Grayson Murray is atop the leaderboard after the opening round of the Valero Texas Open. Murray carded a five-under 67, and leads five players by one stroke. Defending champion Kevin Chappell is at even-par. Amarillo native Ryan Palmer shot 1-under and is tied for 21st. Amarillo born Johnson Wagner shot even-par and is tied for 35th.
