LA and KC are both 11-and-3, but the Chiefs own the better divisional record.

Cowboys And Colts Clash In Indianapolis

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Cowboys and Colts will clash in Indianapolis Sunday in a game with big playoff implications for both. The Cowboys have won five straight after a 29-23 home victory over the Eagles. The ‘Boys are in first-place in the NFC East at 8-and-5, two games ahead of Philly. Indianapolis ended the Texans’ nine-game winning streak with a 24-21 win in Houston last Sunday. The Colts are 7-and-6 and right on the outside looking in of a Wild Card spot in the AFC. (Houston, TX) — The Texans will face the New York Jets tomorrow in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Houston is 9-and-4 after losing 24-21 to the Colts last Sunday to end its nine-game winning streak. The Jets are 4-and-9.

Suns Top Mavs To Spoil Nowitzki’s Season Debut

(Phoenix, AZ) — T.J. Warren poured in a game-high 30 points as the Suns topped the Mavericks 99-89 and spoiled Dirk Nowitzki’s season debut in Phoenix. Jamal Crawford chipped in with 17 points off the bench for the Suns, who snapped a 10-game losing streak and improved to 5-and-24. Nowitzki, who’s in his 21st NBA season, scored just two points in six minutes off the Dallas bench. DeAndre Jordan posted 14 points and 15 boards for the Mavs, who had won their previous three. Harrison Barnes had 15 points in defeat. The Mavs return home Sunday to face the Sacramento Kings.

Spurs Trample Clippers

(San Antonio, TX) — LaMarcus Aldridge tossed in a game-high 27 points to help the Spurs defeat the Clippers 125-87 in San Antonio. Rudy Gay contributed 21 points to the victory. San Antonio improved to 11-and-4 at home and 15-and-14 overall. Tobias Harris paced the Clippers with 17 points. Avery Bradley and Danilo Gallinari each scored 15 points in defeat. LA is 1-and-4 in its last five games.

Harden Leads Rockets Past Lakers

(Houston, TX) — James Harden had a monster game — 50 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists — to lead the Rockets to a 126-111 victory over the Lakers. Harden has two triple-doubles this season and 37 in his career. He made 18 of 19 free throws. Houston has won back-to-back games and will play tomorrow night in Memphis.

Rangers Trade Claudio, Pick Up Romano

(Las Vegas, NV) — The Rangers dealt pitcher Alex Claudio to the Brewers for their Competitive Balance Round A Draft pick. That would likely be the 40th overall pick in the 2019 draft. Texas also acquired right-hander Jordan Romano in the Rule Five Draft. He went 11-and-8 with a 4.13 ERA in 25 starts with Double-A New Hampshire in 2018 in the Toronto system. The Rangers plan to make him a reliever.

Bowl Season Kicks Off Tomorrow
