Friday Morning Canyon Drive Shooting

An overnight shooting in Amarillo sent two people to the hospital. Officers were called out to the apartment complex at 57th and Canyon Drive at 12:23 a.m.

Officers found a large party there and tried to call the people inside with a P.A. but they didn’t get a response.

SWAT and the Bomb Squad were sent out to assist and that’s when people started to get out of the apartment.

Several weapons were found in the place where the party happened, and the two people that were shot were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
