Fox News Leads Election Night Ratings

Fox News is coming out on top in the battle for election night viewers.

Nielsen ratings show over 14-million people tuned in to the channel’s coverage during prime-time hours.

CNN came in second with nine-point-four million while MSNBC rounded out the podium with seven-point-six million.

Fox News also averaged the most viewers between six p.m. and three a.m. at nearly 11-million.

The network was also recognized for calling some races well ahead of others.

Reuters explained Fox projected the Virginia presidential race more than five hours ahead of CNN.
