Former Deputy Arrested On Sex With Minor Charges

A Parmer County Sheriff’s Deputy has been arrested in Curry County New Mexico and terminated from his job.
25-year-old Davin Waters of Farwell is accused of intentionally touching a child on three separate occasions, beginning in December 2018, while in a bathroom at a church in Texico.
Waters was employed as a deputy sheriff in Parmer County and is being held in the Curry County Detention Center, pending a detention hearing on six counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor, all second-degree felonies.
The investigation into this case remains ongoing.
