Former Cowboy Josh Brent Faces $25Million Judgement

(Dallas, TX) — A jury says a former Dallas Cowboys player is liable for the death of a former teammate in a drunk driving wreck. On Thursday the Dallas County jury awarded Jerry Brown’s family 25-million-dollars. The jury said former Cowboys player Josh Brent, who was driving, and Beamers, the nightclub Brent and Brown had just left, were both equally to blame for Brown’s death in 2012. Brent is serving ten years’ probation after being convicted of intoxication manslaughter. He says he accepts full responsibility for his actions.
