Flight Has To Turn Back After Woman Forgets Her Baby

(Jeddah) — A woman and her baby are reunited after her airplane had to turn back because she forgot the child at the terminal. It happened over the weekend on a Saudi Arabian Airlines flight from Jeddah to Malaysia. When the woman realized she had left her baby behind, she reportedly became quite distressed. Normally, aircraft are only permitted to return in case of an emergency. This case apparently qualified and the pilot soon returned to the gate. Said one air traffic controller, this is totally a new one for us.
