First Exclusive Streaming NFL Game Draws Viewers

The ratings are looking good for the first NFL game to air exclusively on a streaming service.
Saturday’s matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals brought in four-point-eight million viewers on Amazon Prime, Twitch and other mobile platforms.
The Hollywood Reporter says that combined with local marker television coverage, the game pulled in five-point-nine million viewers.
The four games that aired on the NFL Network this year drew an average of five-point-six million viewers.
The report notes that Amazon is in the running to pick up the NFL’s Thursday primetime package from Fox and the NFL Network.
