Fire In Randall County Contained

Two firefighters are recovering after being injured in a grass fire response on March 31st
A fire near Farmers and Loop 335, east of Georgia Street is now under control.
Randall County fire crews were called out to the blaze Monday afternoon.
The Amarillo Police Department closed down Georgia, south of Farmers, due to smoke.
The fire was contained by 7:20 pm but crews remained on the scene in mop-up mode and to check for hot spots and traffic on Georgia was reopened
