Fire at Amarillo Events Center

A fire over the weekend at an events center in Northeast Amarillo caused $25 thousand in damage.

The blaze was reported at the Corona Events Center located at 5600 East Amarillo Boulevard at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, with six fire trucks and 26 firefighters responding.

The fire was bought under control at 2:47 and the cause is still undetermined at this time.
