February’s Teachers On The Rise

Teacher’s on the Rise is back for its tenth year in collaboration with Ms. Baird’s baked goods, United Supermarkets, and Liberty Packaging, with some recent winners for the month of February. 

Among the winners of this award from last month is Heather Thormeier, an eighth-grade math teacher at River Road Middle School. 

Being a teacher there for five years now, Ms. Thormeier says her favorite part about her job is seeing growth in her students.

Thormeier joins Hannah Watters of Eastridge Elementary School, and Kyle Hewitt of Randall High School as the most recent recipients. Each one will receive a $100 United Supermarkets gift card, a $100 American Express gift card, as well as some baked goods from Mrs. Bairds.
