Family Support Services Ready For Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Family Support Services will be spreading awareness throughout the month.

Last year, FSS served 2,433 domestic violence victims by providing safe housing, safety planning, legal and medical advocacy, and more. 

They will be participating in several events this month, including the third annual Domestic Violence Faith Community Summit on the 6th from 8:30 am to 4, as well as the DV Awareness Walk on Friday, October 28th at 3 pm. 

Thursday the 20th is national Go Purple Day, wear purple to continue raising awareness.
