Family Escapes Fire

A family escaped with their dogs after a fire from a neighbor’s mobile home spread to theirs

The Amarillo Fire Department responded to a fire at 2002 North Hayes Street where a camper, mobile home, and a vehicle were on fire.

Firefighters called for a second alarm.

The fire started to burn the mobile home at 2004 North Hayes Street.

The people who lived there were able to escape with their dogs on their own.

The fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause.
