Fair Market Rates Increasing For Housing Voucher

The City of Amarillo Housing Authority has increased the fair market rates for Housing Choice Voucher rental units by 10%.
This increase only affects the HVC Program, formally Section 8 through the Community Development Department.
This change does not affect approved rates through other rental assistance programs.
Property managers and owners interested in partnering with the HVC program can contact the COA Community Development Department at 806-378-3098.
The waitlist is currently closed while the department continues to process those on the list already.
