Eye On Wellness-Hip Exercises

To avoid Hip replacement, you have to build stronger muscles.

Start with the Good Morning exercise. Feet shoulder-width apart hands on your sides. Your knees should be slightly bent and back naturally arched. Bend at your hipsas far as you canor until your torso is parallel to the floor, then return to the starting position.

Hip abduction, again, feet shoulder-width apart, with a resistance band around both ankles. Raise your right leg as far as you can hold for a moment then slowly lower it. Switch legs and repeat the exercise with the other leg.

Then there’s the Glute Bridge.. Lie on your back, feet flat on the floor. Raise your hips to form a straight line from shoulders to knees. Clench your butt at the top of the exercise and lower back down.

These exercises will help you combat a worn-out hip-bone. and or hip pain without surgery Chronic hip pain is partially a factor in accidental opioid overdoses of that claimed the lives of musicians 66-year-old Tom Petty and 57-year-old Prince.

These exercises will also increase your range of motion in the hip area, and increase strength by fortifying the hip muscle.
