Evacuations All Around

Evacuations are taking place, especially in Southwest Amarillo as a result of Wednesday night rains.
The area in and around South Virginia Street had state and local resources working together to help and rescue those impacted by the flood waters in the area of 2727 South Virginia Street.
Police report four people were taken to the hospital with non-critical chronic conditions, with 21 people and 12 animals taken to shelters
Multiple apartments in the area were evacuated and those impacted were taken ro Austin Middle School.
