EOW Omega Oils

We all have heard about how good fish oil is for you, it can help with a lot of body functions, etc.

But check this out, fish oil can help with mild depression. Mild depression is described as having symptoms, but can get you through the day without it affecting your life too much.

You can look for a rating scale online called the PHQ-9, to find out if your depression is mild or not.

Here’s what to take… Start with one gram of fish oil a day, but you can go up to two.

Fish oil has two components, EPA and DHA. Look for 60 percent EPA, 40 percent DHA and be patient.

It may take anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks to have an effect.

Keep tabs on your labs. Fish oil may slightly increase LDL, which isn’t always ideal, although it may also reduce triglycerides and blood pressure which is good.

Make sure you talk with your Doctor before taking fish oil, especially if you’re on blood thinners,
